I got my first Commodore 4k
Pet, computer back in the seventies. I have gradually worked my
way through the IBM 8080 processors, Apple 11e's, Mack's, and
through the clones, 386, 486, MMX200's, AMD K6/233. All the way up to
my current AMD Thunderbird 1000, with 512k memory, and 2, 20Gb
hard drives.
I currently have 5 computers
running on my home network, running Win 98Se and Win XP pro.

I visit anywhere between 50 to
100 sites a day, and download 20 to 40 programs a week to try, and
evaluate.
I am also on the receiving end of
about 100 newsletters, and product advisories, all of which I try to
assimilate, and produce my own newsletter; "MikesWhatsNews", on a
weekday basis. See a sample on my web page
here.
I am a moderator on 8 different
help and support groups, and try to answer questions on around 12 groups,
I tend to lose track<g>
I decided to try to learn more
about viruses after getting my first one. Nothing worse than having
a 'Stoned' computer. Since then I have been trying to learn more
about them, which has inspired me to try to share the knowledge on my
Virus Info pages.
See my Anti-Virus pages
here.
