Vic Ferri has been studying and working with
computers since the early DOS days and through the years has helped
countless people with their computer problems. Though he can build
computers from the ground up, his focus is the Windows operating
systems, in particular the Windows registry and multimedia and graphics
applications.
He is also the developer of
Lock&Hide, a desktop folder security program for Windows
95/98/ME and
PowerPoint to Exe, a service where he converts PowerPoint
presentations (both commercial and personal) to standalone EXE files,
which can be run without the need to have PowerPoint installed. |
|
DVD conversions is another service he offers. He can
convert presentations/slideshows (Powerpoint or not) into DVD format.
The DVDs will autoplay in all standard home and PC DVD players. As well,
he provides an EXE image security service that allows distribution of
graphics with a security level that can even counter against screen
captures.
Other graphic-related services he can help with
include graphics to DVD, video files, flash, screensavers, slideshows,
and he can even compile your photos into jigsaw puzzles or custom
"concentration" memory games which make great personal greeting gifts to
send family and friends.
As well, he can help you with audio/video matters,
such as transferring your vinyl or cassette tapes to CD or your old VHS
tapes to DVD.
He has written for ABC,
TechTrax, and
Neat Net Tricks
and he runs the popular
Wintips&Tricks support group and newsletter, as well as
Registry Answers, a newsletter of registry tips.
Besides computing, he enjoys music, movies,
photography, gardening, dogs, reading, and his home life in general.
