Give the Gift of Security
~~Mike Baynes, MikesWhatsNews
One of the best gifts that you could give a
computer user may be security. With the prices of computers coming down,
quite a few people may be getting their first one for Christmas. Why
not help them and protect yourself and others by giving them a gift of an
Anti-Virus and firewall program?
Their are several good ones available for free. See my earlier article
"How Good Is Free?"

You could download the programs and save them on a CD for your friends,
or save the links to the programs and give them to them.
You may even choose to take advantage of the new technology and download
the programs to one of the new USB Flash Drive portable storage devices:

They would have a double gift. The security programs and the portable
storage device.
Often the computer magazines will include a CD with many programs on it.
They make good stocking stuffers for computer enthusiasts. I have seen
some with Zone Alarm, Mailwasher, and Pest Patrol, as well as some games, all
on their 'free CD'. <<<back to contents
