Introduction to Poser
5
~~Charlene Russ,
Artistic Vision
Poser 5, the 'premiere figure design
tool', has some wonderful new libraries and 'Rooms' which greatly extend
its 3D creation capabilities. Some of these include dynamic hair, which
can be 'grown' and 'styled', a Material Room along with a full featured
material library, Face Room, a Cloth Room, Content Room and Setup Room.
With stunning visual effects, I found it to be well worth the price of
the upgrade.
All the features can be accessed from
the Menu Bar at the top or via the graphical interface accessed from the
tabs and Window on the menu bar. The standard Poser Editing Tools can be
found at the top of the graphical interface, and turn orange when you
select them.

Poser Libraries:
To access the Poser Libraries from
the menu bar, click on 'Windows', then scroll down and click on
Libraries. The Library stack will appear on the right, then click on the
desired library. Click on the desired library in the stack to expand the
menu for that library.
To learn more about Poser 5 you may
visit the Eclectic Academy and enroll in the new Introduction to Poser 5
on-line course. This course offers step- by- step instruction with audio
enhancement.
